Joint Site Walk

Minutes

June 18, 2011

Planning Board members and Conservation Commission members met to conduct observational site walks on town owned lots in Lake Ashuelot Estates in order to gather and verify information on the lots.

PB Members present: Lynn Cook, Nan Schwartz and Steve Terani

CC members present: Sandy Robinson, Arin Mills and Nan Schwartz

Public present: Don Damm, Carolyn Russell

We met at the Town Hall at 9AM, gathered some assessors' equipment and the large tax maps, and drove to LAE. Using a map compiled by Cook for more efficient visits, we started at TM15-125 and visited 10 lots on our list of 15. One lot, TM 14-369, is in the process of repurchase from the town by the owner so we crossed this one off the site visit list.

We visited TM 15-125, TM 14-331, TM 15-127, TM 14-368, TM 13-343, Tm 14-378, TM 14-57, TM 14-65 and TM 14-12. All lots were marked with surveyors tape and after looking at the information previously gathered from property cards and maps, direct observations were made as to conditions on the ground. Schwartz took pictures and notes on the group's observations, Cook took additional observational notes on copies of the property cards.

The site visit was adjourned at 11:55AM and will be continued on Thursday, June 23^rd at 1PM with the same members attending, or another agreed on date and time.
