Joint Site Walk

Planning Board members and Conservation Commission members met to conduct more observational site walks on town owned lots in Lake Ashuelot Estates in order to gather and verify information on the lots.

PB Members present: Lynn Cook, Nan Schwartz and Tom Marshall

CC members present: Jed Schwartz and Nan Schwartz

Public present: None

Schwartz, Schwartz and Marshall met at the Town Hall at 1PM, gathered some assessors' equipment and the large tax maps, and drove to LAE to meet Cook. Using a map compiled by Cook for more efficient visits, we started at TM14-236 and visited the remaining 4 lots on our list of 15. One lot, TM 14-87, is a back lot so we didn't attempt to visit it but will rely on satellite maps and other information to assess it.

We visited TM 14-236, TM 14-300, TM 14-298, and TM 10-60. All lots were marked with surveyors tape and after looking at the information previously gathered from property cards and maps, direct observations were made as to conditions on the ground. Schwartz took pictures and notes on the group's observations, Cook took additional observational notes on copies of the property cards.

The site visit was adjourned at 3:00 PM.
