Joint Site Walk

October 15, 2011

Planning Board members and Conservation Commission members met to conduct observational site walks on town owned lots in Lake Ashuelot Estates in order to gather and verify information on the lots.

PB Members present: Lynn Cook, Nan Schwartz and Tom Marshall

CC members present: Jed Schwartz and Nan Schwartz

Public present: None

We met at the Town Hall at 10AM, gathered some assessors' equipment and the large tax maps, and drove the lots scattered around Washington. Using a map compiled by Cook for more efficient visits, we started at TM12-187 and visited 7 lots on our list of 16. One lot, TM 17-09, is in the process of repurchase from the town by the owner so we crossed this one off the site visit list.

We visited TM 12-187, TM 7-45, TM 11-26, TM 11-87, TM 24-28, TM 25-88 and TM 25-89. All lots were marked with surveyors tape and after looking at the information previously gathered from property cards and maps, direct observations were made as to conditions on the ground. Schwartz took pictures and notes on the group's observations, Cook took additional observational notes on copies of the property cards.

The site visit was adjourned at 12:05PM.
