The following is the official report of police department activities for the last 3 months, as reported to, and published in, the local newspapers.
 

02/14/10- 02/20/2010 The Washington Police Department issued 11 motor vehicle warnings. Eight were issued on South Main Street, and one each on East Washington, Ashuelot Acre Road and North Main Street.

02/14/2010    Chief Marshall assisted with a Washington Rescue call at a Coolidge Drive residence.

02/15/2010    Ofc Corrigan received a Vacant House Check for a Washington Drive property.

02/17/2010    Ofc Putchler received a report of two stray dogs on Route 31. He did not locate the animals.

02/17/2010    Ofc. Putchler directed the Washington Elementary School students in the DARE Program.

02/18/2010    Chief Marshall served papers to a Valley Road resident.

02/18/2010    Chief Marshall responded to a report of two stray dogs on Lempster Mountain Road.

02/18/2010    Chief Marshall opened a locked motor vehicle for a Lovell Mountain Road resident.

02/20/2010    Ofc. Corrigan responded to a road hazard complaint at a Faxon Hill Road property.

02/21/10- 02/24/2010 The Washington Police Department issued 8 motor vehicle warnings. Five were issued on South Main Street, and one each on Faxon Hill Road, Lempster Mountain Road and North Main Street.

02/21/2010    Ofc. Corrigan assisted the Fire Department with the Washington Ice Fishing Derby.

02/21/2010    Ofc Corrigan investigated a suspicious persons report at a vacant summer home. He found that it was two ice fishermen looking for a way to get to the water.

02/24/2010    Ofc Putchler responded to an abandoned vehicle report for a car off Faxon Hill Road. The car’s owner was contacted and the car was removed.

02/24/2010    Ofc. Putchler assisted the Washington Rescue Squad with a call from a South Main Street property.

02/25/2010    Chief Marshall assisted the Washington Rescue Squad with a call from a Presidential Drive property owner complaining of chest pain.
