Lock Bumping (04/21/09)- This is BAD news... the old familiar "cylinder" lock is OBSOLETE.  Time to think about making a change to your exterior locks.

The example shown by the locksmith is a VERY delicate key prone to breakage problems and has a very "toothy" edge profile which can snag and wear through the lining of pockets or purses.

The Swiss tamper-proof keys have a round nose and are perfectly smooth along the edges. They have a series of varying depth drilled recesses along their flat side "faces".

Because they are not cut along the edges, they are not prone to metal fatigue, breaking off or causing abrasion in the pocket/purse, insert VERY smoothly into the lock either way, will NOT BUMP and are difficult to duplicate.
