10/26/08- The Town of Washington will be accepting bids on a 1984 Chevrolet K-30 1 ton flat bed truck. The truck may be seen at the Washington Public Works Garage at 963 South Main Street between the hours of 7:00AM and 3:30PM Monday through Friday. All bids must be in a sealed envelope and delivered to the Washington Board of Selectmen labeled Washington Truck Bid on or before November 20, 2008. The truck will be sold as is as seen, no warranties expressed or implied. For more information, please contact Ed Thayer at 495-3641. The Town of Washington reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

Notice of a Hearing

                                                            Board of Adjustment 

                                                            Washington, NH

  

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Adjustment will be holding a Public Hearing on Wednesday November 19, 2008 at 7:30 PM in the Town Hall regarding the following:

 

Blastos/Cummings: TM#12-064, 856 Washington Drive; this request was tabled at the October Hearing to address possible wetland issues.

 

Nielsen: TM#12-098, 499 Washington Drive, requesting a 18 foot sideline variance from a proposed 22 x 24 garage and a 16 foot sideline variance from a proposed mudroom. The Land Use Ordinance states that all construction must be 30 feet from the sideline.

 

You are welcome to attend the meeting to become informed and/or voice your comments. You may also send comments prior to the hearing to the Board of Adjustment
