NEW!! The New England Carbon Challenge (NECC), a joint initiative of the University of NH and Clean Air-Cool Planet, is proud to announce the My Energy Plan™ Video Challenge 2011 for NH residents.
Between January 3 and February 28, the NECC invites individuals (age 13 and above) and groups from across New Hampshire to submit 1- to 4-minute videos about their energy plans. This unique short-video contest is the centerpiece of My Energy Plan™, a new suite of web tools designed to help households reduce their energy consumption. Created by the NECC, with the NH Sustainable Energy Association and the University of NH Cooperative Extension and housed at myenergyplan.net, these web tools help individuals make a plan to increase energy and cost savings over time. MEP helps individuals act on the power they have to make changes in their life.

NEW!! State Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program (SEEARP)
The state is offeringincreased funding for rebates to residential consumers for solar thermal systems. Click here for more information:SEEARP
Household appliances such as clothes washers and air conditioners are not included under the New Hampshire SEEARP and instead will continue to be offered through the electric utility EnergySTAR Appliance Rebate Program.


My Energy Plan - Information on making your home more energy efficient or installing renewable energy systems - The New England Carbon Challenge, a joint venture of the University of NH and Clean Air-Cool Planet, has created an amazingly helpful new resource funded with a grant from the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Fund in the form of a free web tool to help you connect with the financial tools and professionals you need to get the job done.

Rebates for Installing Residential Solar Electricity or Wind Power
NH PUC Energy Rebates Information and Application

If you have installed or will install a residential solar electricity system or a wind power system with a capacity of less than 5 kilowatts before September 30, 2009, you maybe eligible for a rebate of $3 per watt of capacity (up to $6000. or 50% of system costs, which ever is less).
