The mission of theWashington Police Department is to deliver courteous and professional public safety services to the citizens of, and visitors to, this community in a fair and impartial manner, respecting the rights of all persons.
The mission statement is a practical, general statement of our responsibility to you whether you are a member of the community or a visitor. The officers of the Washington Police Department believe that it is our goal to be part of and not apart from the citizens we serve and we hope that you will agree.
