Camp Morgan Protection Committee

The Camp Morgan Protection Committee was formed in 2023, after a vote at Town Meeting, to add a layer of protection for the Camp Morgan property and Town Forest. It is comprised of one member each from the Forestry Committee, Parks & Recreation Commission, Conservation Commission, Millen Lake Association and Planning Board. The committee's mandate is to protect the property from undesired development and changes of use. They will consider any proposal and with a 2/3rds vote of the committee in favor, they will bring the proposal to the governing body and it will be brought before the legislative body for a 3/4ths affirmative vote before approval.
