Site Walk Minutes

Public present: Linda and Peder Halverson
We met at the Halverson’s property at 511 Faxon Hill Road at 9am.
We were shown the property by Linda and Peder Halverson, who answered our questions about the property and their Bed and Breakfast business. Crandall had printed out the information from their web page and we looked it over. They explained that the whole downstairs of the house is the rentable area and they live upstairs. They have room for up to 5 people in 2 bedrooms. The well is next to the house and the septic system is adequate for the number of bedrooms. Schwartz will check the property file for the septic approval and capacity. They said they rent by the night or for a week with a 3-week limit. We toured the space finding a full kitchen and dining area, laundry, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and sitting room. The spaces were clean and welcoming. We went through the list of necessary items for the site review and business permit application and found we had everything in order.
Crandall said we will hold the Public Hearing on September 5th at 6:15PM and Schwartz will notice for the hearing.
The site visit was adjourned at 9:30AM.
